Cupid, our 10 year old goat loosened one of his horns on Saturday and then today, he totally knocked the outside cover from it and was bleeding so bad that Bill had to come home from work so we could take him to the vet. They had to saw the horn off where it was broken and cauterize it to stop the bleeding, then bandage it until Sunday and then re-bandage it and he has to stay in the barn for three months. The vet said that he would grow another hard covering for it over time. :???:
