5 week old AMHA colt by Bepettons Sirs Hot Topic (Silver Black Minimal Pinto) out of Cascades Top Cats Miss Kitty (Solid Buckskin)

He has now been neck and head clipped and on this picture you can see the foal coat colour. Inside of ears was a definite cream. I dont see any sign of silver in him, so need opinions please. He has two icy blue eyes.

I'm not a color expert, but I do have to say that the clipped coat of a horse, especially a foal, doesn't show the "true" color of the horse. I have a bright red bay mare that used to clip out to be black when she was younger.

From the (unclipped) foal coat it looks like this foal could be buckskin.

My guess would be a smokey black tobiano/splash

But as Magic said, its hard to tell with a clipped coat, and it can be real hard to tell with a foal coat too. Do you have any new born pics?
