How would you rank these? Please use A-1 or A-2, etc.

A. Inconsiderate drivers who don't know how to thank you for letting them go.

B. Unruly children who yell at their parents in public or private.

C. People who toss their cigarette butts anywhere they like, including out the window of a car.

I know there are many others, but these are some that really tick me off and wonder how many others feel the same. I am not dumping on anyone, just wondering aloud.

None of them bother me that much but I dont like smoking in general or kids especially ones that make noise.

B, A then C. My biggest peeve is people on their cell phones while driving, or having a conversation with a passenger and not paying attention to what they are doing. Dont know why people think they can drive and use a cell phone. May be because they never follow themselves and see that they are all over the road and not even remotely at a consistent speed. grrrrrrr

I have to go with C-1, B-2 & A-3. Can not stand it when people think the world is their ashtray.

The cigarette butt thing really annoys me. If people want to smoke in their vehicles then they should keep their butts and ashes to themselves. Really irritates me to see people flicking their ash out the window, or to see piles of butts in a store parking lot where someone has dumped their ash tray. I frequently wonder why smokers have to be such dirty pigs that way.

I would have to say B, C and then A.

There is no excuse for rude manners and children acting like that with NO respect to anyone, thus probably encouraging the other two behaviors at a later age!!!

All 3 are equally infuriating. As are screaming infants at Walmart at 1 AM and parents who turn their wild kids loose in stores, people who ram you with their shopping cart (can't see my big butt?), people who pull out in front of you unexpectedly just to turn at the next corner, cashiers discussing thei private life with a coworker when I'm trying to PAY them, people who blow their nose, look at it, then touch something that belongs to me (heard of handwashing?)-please go to a private place to blow a nose!

Several things annoy me. THe cig butts only bothers me when they do it at my house. Most of my family smokes as do many of our friend........I dont care if you smoke but you know where the garbage is!

Unruley kids bother me, but I think what bothers me more is the boarder line abusive parents in stores.

B - 1

C -2

A -3 Don't really expect them to.

What really bothers me is people who jump in line because they are so much more important than others.

Sometimes I have a list of pet peeves a mile long.

One of them is when people spit. I cannot stand when people spit.

Then, at the end of the day I take a good look in the mirror and realize I have a lot of work to do on me. Then it becomes all trivial and so unimportant.

I just can move aside and step over the spit.

I hate seeing cigeratte butts everywhere, but Smoking is my top pet peeve of all time. Feel free to smoke, BUT don't do it around me, my kids or others... and the cigeratte butts..... that's littering. A friend of mine is a police officer. He said he has given people warnings especially when the ash tray is dumped.

Another friend of mine had to put out a fire out that started next to her car because someone threw their cigerette butt out of the window into dry grass.

On the smoking issue...

Just the other day I was at the playground and watched a man smoking while pushing his infant in a swing.... smoke was blown in her face.... then another couple came and starting smoking the entire playground area was nothing but breathing in their smoke. I had to get my kids out of there. I think that is beyone rude..... bring the nicorette while around the kids!

Smoking in front of stores, hospitals... I don't want to walk through or breath in your smoke.

I'm so glad Virginia law is changing to not smoke in restaurants ( they will be allowed only in a ventilated seperate room).

Yes, smokers are allowed to smoke, but I'm also, allowed to eat without smoke.

My parents smoked while I was growing up. I hated it. I lived with it for way too long and would NEVER smoke. I'm glad I never started.

They have since quit. I'm so thankful for that.

Oh and the spitting thing... that will turn my stomach when I see it.

Off my soapbox now....

Massachusetts does not allow smoking in any building, period. You have to go outside. I just got back from Vegas and was overcome by smoke inhalation just walking through the casinos. YICK

Having to evacuate twice (2003 & 2007) because of fires the cigarette tossing really bothers me because

it can really effect many lives by devestating & killing.

Ill mannered kids I really don't like because they are "in training" to become the next adults.

If they treat their parents (who there is supposably a love bond with) bad how are they to treat the rest of mankind.

Here's a design I recently did.

The other well I can take as you'd hope people have manners but well even the best of people may slip because of their minds being full.

Currently, I think the only buildings that allow smoking are the restaurants, bars... problem with Virginia is it's a tobacco state... this is a huge deal for this to become law. People have to go a certain number of feet from the entrance to smoke from the hospital... but here's what happens..... the person gets that last big of cigarette... throws it on the ground and then exhales the smoke while entering the hospital. I will never understand.

DC and I believe Maryland are now smoke free. The big argument was that the restaurants and bars would lose business. The last I heard the opposite has happened. More non smoking patrons are coming in now which is exactly what I thought would happen. I hate sitting in a restaurant that allows smoking. There is no way to make a non-smoking area unless you don't allow smoking at all. I think even a lot of bingo halls are going non-smoking.

I think they all tie for 1st place. my landlord leaves her (and lets other people in the building) smoke butts on the grass where we take our dog to pee. I work in retail and kids come in all the time yelling at their parents and running around getting hurt on things they should not be touching. And just last week I had stopped to let another driver in before the light turned green and they decided to go when it turned green almost causing an accident and then slammed their breaks on for a random person wanting to cross the road, I almost hit them and they left me hanging in the middle of an intersection.

After living in Ca and them not allowing smoking in places to eat and buildings and then coming her to Mo we were SHOCKED. Yea "some" places have non smoking but you can still smell it or they park you right next to the wall and it comes over the wall. I hate eating out here, so we don't, EXCEPT Mc Donalds, Taco Bell places like that, I think Appleby's was ok too if I recall. Anyway, my rank is

b.

a.

c.

Yea, kids can be brats but I see MORE parents being "mean" and WHAT about these parents who come in the store all dressed up in their winter clothes and they have the kid in a t-shirt and short and sandles on. What's up with that, don't they know the kid is cold too???? I just don't understand... OH and if your kid is screaming in an establishment where eating or a movie is going on could you PLEASE take him out, don't sit there and act like their going to get happy.... AND Poke onto the freeway, going 20 miles an hour and everyone else is doing 70, bright real bright!!!!!!! Make EVERYONE slow down, just for you, now aren't you "special" Oh you can tell I've got pet peeves......

However, like Marty say's at the end of the day you have to look at yourself.... OH MY!!!!!!
