I was wondering if anyone has used batten tape / fence strapping on their fence, and how it worked? Its not electric, it appears to be similar to seat belt material, but white. It says it is UV and weather resistant. you install it through "loops" on your post, then tighten it. The way it attaches allows it to flex and dispense the impact if a horse were to run into it. We want to put in a 120x60 area to drive and also turnout in (seperate from our drylot) but we cant afford to use woven wire on both. I thought this might be something to try so that the fence was more visible. It would be backed up with 2 or 3 strands of hot rope. Its much more economical than the vinyl, or post rail fencing

My fences are electric with similar tape but if I forget to switch it on my horses are out in a flash so I imagine this would be the same.
