Fruit fly problem-HELP

My kitchen is over run with fruit flies.Last year I tried a recipe suggested by someone on this forum.Mixed some things together put in a shallow dish &the little beggers committed suicide.Just can't rmember what the ingredients were.The mixture would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance.

Might try a dish with water and a little liquid dish soap. It works for fleas but I don't know if it works for fruit flies. Worth a try.

I feel for you, we had them bad last year. This year so far, none, but I hung strips up early!
