These two baby girls were born last Saturday and Sunday nights. I just love them both!
Rozalyn foaled first, and this little girl is such a character! She was born friendly and curious, acting like a much older foal right from day one. Rozalyn "smiles" for a cookie, and at 12 hours old this little one watched her and did the same thing! So smart! She loves to run and buck, goes everywhere at a gallop and is wearing her poor old mother to a frazzle.
The next night it was Flicka's turn, and her filly is as proper and ladylike as Rozalyn's is rough and tumble! She is SO pretty, I love her head, and she's so balanced and athletic that it's fun to watch her move. She likes to eat snow, and if the drift is too hard she gets that dainty little foot up there and bangs it until she can get some off. Funny!
