My farrier used the hoof stand and plans to order one. He had been considering one but wasn't sure about the size. He thinks this stand will work better for his geriatric horses than the one he has been using.

That makes sense, might take a little to get used to the slightly different angle a full-size horse would be using the mini stand, but the full-size horse with stiff joints will probably tolerate the lower height better.
