Canada seems to have many annoying commercials these days....the latest is the Tim Hortons one where all the people are lined up with their faces puckered up, waiting for a lemon donut of some sort? It's so totally stupid.
Long standing annoying commercials--the ones for Best Sleep Centre where the idiot president of the company comes on & talks--he's got a really grating voice, and then at the very end the ad says "Best Sleep center" and good old president pops in headfirst from the side of the screen & exclaims "Yoooou'lllllll find us!"
Dumbest commercial--I don't even remember what they were advertising, but the man of the house was trying to act like a cat--climbing the curtain, scratching the arm of the couch...ack. Too bad he doesn't get a hairball...
Cute--any of the Royale toilet tissue ads with the white persian kittens. I love them all, but I think the best one yet was the one where the guy looks in the door at the kittens playing on the floor, One looks up at him & opens its mouth to meow, and out comes a roar. Those kittens are just the cutest.
Oh yes, and there's the viagra commercials. The newer ones are obnoxious, where the pill keeps showing up over the people's mouth to blank out their vulgarity. The original one though, where the guy was dancing down the street & into the elevator to the tune of "good morning, good morning". Snort. If that guy had such a great night with his viagra I suspect he'd be yawning & dragging his tired self down the sidewalk, not dancing and leaping along!

There was a Hallmark Cards commercail years ago that made me cry
every single time I saw it. It was a young brother waiting for
his older Marine Corps brother to come home for Christmas.......
Cause we were living that in our house it just broke me up....
I get up and leave the room during most commercials - wish
I could do the same during many of the radio commercials...

One that really annoyed me was the Ross one for their summer clothes. The two ladies are walking down the beach talking about how much they like summer because of the great clothes which they get at Ross. Then one says, "And the kids are home from school." Her friend responds, "You can't have everything" and they laugh. It made me so mad that people would have that attitude about the opportunity to spend more time with their kids. If people really have that attitude (and I'm sure there are some that do) it makes me wonder why they even have kids. Yuck!

Bonnie I loved the dancing elephant too. Wish they'd bring it back.
The current ones I'm enjoying are the Dairy Queen Waffle Bowl commercials. The first one was my favorite where the ice cream cone asks the neighbor waffle bowl if he has any chocolate syrup. He says yes and asks what she's gonna do with it. She says "oh, just pour it over my body".....his reaction is hilarious. They didn't keep that one on long enough cause the relationship is progressing. They just found out he isn't "lactose intolerant" and they can have a baby.

I like the puppy advantage one , too. there's gotta be bugs on some of you mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me!
