Hi all,

We have a mare that is 330 days on the 30th of Oct. She is a 16yr old Buckaroo Daughter

We have been milk testing her with the PH pool strips as her previous owner said she was a very early foaler(last year she had her filly 7 weeks early!)

Last week when we tested her it was like water and quickly soaked into the square...but the past 2 days her milk has become so thick(feels like honey if u rub it between ur finger) and it just seems to sit ontop of the the little test squares and then eventually starts slowly soaking in....

Is this a sign that foaling is very near??

It can drop very fast so I would just keep testing. can we see some pics of her tummy and udder please
