Channel 6 News (here in Scappoose, Oregon) just had a short segment on neglected horses. There are 6 horses that were found standing in manure and urine, with open, ozzing wounds and cuts. They were pretty underweight (not extremely for what I saw, but not in good shape either way).
Here's the kicker....the owner of these 6 horses is a VET!!!
The segment also said that she (the horrible owner) gets to keep her job!
At 6:30 tonight they are going to have more on it and also tell how people can help the horses out. I will keep you all posted.
