A friend of mine sent me this link to a webcam on a Bald Eagle's nest on Hornby Island, B.C. (between Vancouver Island and the mainland). Hornby Eagles It's absolutely amazing! There's not much "action", but when I think about the fact that I'm looking at a bald eagle in its own habitat in the wild, I'm thrilled. There's a Mourning Dove nest right outside my bedroom window that I've been watching closely and thinking how privileged I am, but this Eagle.....
Sometimes both parents are on the nest tending to the baby. I love to hear the variety of sounds they make as they communicate with each other. What a treat this is! I hope you enjoy it, too!
