No, the ASPC doesn't hardship any shetlands. That has been closed for several years. In order to register any Shetland into the ASPC it must come from two registered ASPC parents.

Actually ASPC has never allowed hardship in the way most mini breeders understand hardship (from unknown parentage). There have been periods where ASPC has allowed outcrossing to other breeds (Hackney, Welsh, Americana and Harness Show Pony) but that is no longer allowed. All ASPC ponies must have two ASPC registered parents.
