What would you put down for this guys head marking, is it a star, a crescent or a few white hairs?

Some of my friends said AMHR would consider it a flame marking, so put that down, they might change it.

There is an option where you can put "few white hairs on forehead"

I wouldn't consider the marking a crescent but maybe a whorl.

I would definitly go with "a few white hairs on forehead". It always looks much whiter in foal coat, and once clipped or shed out, it will be barely noticeable.

I have a bay gelding with about 30 white hairs. When clipped, it's barely there, but looks like your little one in winter coat. I wrote "faint star" and they accepted it. Don't know if that's correct or not, but that's what I did.

I had a couple like that and I put "few white hairs", and the registry put "flame" on the papers. Until then, I had never even heard the term.

I have also used the "faint star" description successfully, as Parmela has.

Thanks everyone, I put a few whit hairs, it's a little lower than a star, and when he is clipped/summer coat it is a lot smaller than his winter coat.
