1st '08 foal for Songcatcher Ranch

[Songcatcher]

We have our first foal of the year! A filly! Songcatchers Footprints In The Snow - Bears Snips Illustration (Bandit) X Velvets Little Shadow Dancer (Millie) - 3/7/08 Palomino Pinto with one blue eye. 19 inches tall and 18 pounds at birth.

I am always so anxious for the first one. I think I'm going to wait later to breed for next year though. I don't like having new foals when there is snow on the ground. Luckily the snow didn't last long though. Temperature was in the 60s today.
