    Wonky heat cycles

No advice here but I will be interested in what you find out. The mare I had here for 42 days never did show heat. She did have a foal nursing though. Good luck.

Nerve damage and muscle atrophy of forelimb and chest

I wonder if they were a team and had an accident? or perhaps they were made to pull to heavy of a load, pulling ponies. Just another thought to consider.

    Mares heat cycle

I was thinking about the mare magic also. I will have to look into that one and see if it is ok for a mare with a foal at her side that is nursing. This is all new to me and I have been raising a few foals over the last 30 years. Thanks your reply.

    Mares heat cycle

I am wondering if anyone here uses a supplement for their mares to help regulate their cycle, reduce the cranky attitude also. This would be for a lactating mare in for breeding. I was thinking along the line of Mare Plus but was curious what other use. I am not interested in the "shot" just a...

    Foal with scrotal hernia?

Have you thought of using a larger size disposable baby diaper? not sure how large your foal is. Thinking that the waist band would need to fit around the foal where the hernia is and that may or may not keep a bandage on.

Happy 4th... And how do you handle Fireworks and Animals???

Happy 4th to you. My horses are fine with fireworks. Our neighbor gets carried away with them.....but we endure. Our 2 dogs are terrified and they do best in our bedroom with the door shut. It seems they feel secure in there, they are scared of guns too and they are hunting bred dogs. Good thing...

    Farrier Table??

An older friend had a stand for his vet to use to take coggins and give shots and things like that. He had like 45 head. Basically a ramp they walked up to get to a small level standing area. Had brackets on both sides with wood slat railings that could be taken off easily to do 1 side, put back...
