Has anyone here used the product?

no, at 3 months of pregnancy the hair is not a problem, because you go very high in the inguinal area between the udder and the inner side of the leg - very close to the udder, where the coat is not so long and deep... just use a generous quantity of US-gel or oil for a good contact between skin...

Has anyone here used the product?

I've tried it. Not exactly the same, but same principle: it detects fluid in the explored area, so the amniotic fluid in the uterus of the pregnant mare. To have a chance to detect pregnancy, the pregnant uterus must have come over the pelvic rim, and so the test is possible and reliable after 3...

Which way does he look better?

Am I blind? I can't see any difference on these pics except for the black nose... but you painted the nose, so it has nothing to do with the lenght of the hair.

Miniature Horses as Guide Animals (POLL: Yes or No)

I voted NO. Not sure you can train a horse, how small ever he could be, to be secure enough in his reactions to guide blind persons. But even if you could, let us suggest it could be a possibility, what kind of way of life is this mini expecting?.. deal with cars, noise, the crowd, walks in the...

Anyone else have a super - pee-er? Soaked stall

I have not this kind of problems because of two reasons: - my stalls are very large for minis, they are for "full sized horses" - the ground of the stalls is just hard-packed natural ground, there is no concrete-floor, so the ground is permeable I have a pine-flakes-bedding of about 20 cm and...

I would think that one of the parents is a false-delcared minimal splashed. Probably the blue-eyed dam? Do you have pics of the parents? anyway, this mating ended in a successfull result of a wonderfull-colored Penny! I would like to see her in her summer coat, if you have some photos..

Cargo Van conversions- how have you done it?

That's the fixation of my divider: On each side of the car's back there is a wooden part screwed in the strong metallic frame of the car. The screws come from behind the piece of wood, they have been passed trough wholes existing for modifications and fixations in the car. The screws go trough...

Thank you, Targetsmom!! deafness in dogs can be related to extremly white markings in piebald or merle and double-merle dogs. It's the same situation as you described: deafness related to the lack of pigmentation of the inner ear.

look, I found this on http://www.vgl.ucdav...ces/tobiano.php that would mean it is not necessarily an overo to have blue eyes...? and on the same website from the UC Davis http://www.vgl.ucdav...lashedwhite.php Like my little Amigo, your horse has no white on his face, even not the muzzle...

Could he not "just" be tobiano? Do you think he must be splashed because oh his blue eyes? I ask this because I have a pinto yearling with one "mixed" eye, brown with some blue in it. What do you think he could be? I think he is tobiano..?

Cargo Van conversions- how have you done it?

I can do a temporary transformation of my Renault-Master. I use this car for the transport of my great danes, just with mattresses on the floor.. but for the minis I have a wooden separation fixed across; a rubber mat protects the floor and avoid the mini sliding. there is still some space...

Can we see pics of minis in training for driving?

Thank you for all the advices Oh that reassures me, because for the moment that's really difficult. I can long-lining him with the tire just for a few meters before I loose control, he starts to turn his hindquarters or to step over the traces. For the moment most of the time, I walk next to...

Sponenberg, Equine Color Genetics: "Many splashed white horses are deaf... Some breeders contend that the splashed white horses with white around the eyes are more likely to be deaf than those with color around the eyes..." What is your experience in this conection?
