I am at 340 days with my mare. Looks to be progressing about like yours. I am expecting at least another week. But watching on the camera every night! Yours looks to be a little ways off too. But who knows??

I have cameras in the barn now compared to 25 years ago when I had a mare that I was lucky enough to walk in and catch the foal before it hit the ground. Plus I'm older now and worry too much! When the fruit is ripe, it will fall!!

My mare does the breathing hard thing too. Sounds like they are getting ready. When its time it will happen!

Thanks for answering back. My mare rolls several times per day and her bag is not tight and full at all. Since she is not a maiden her bag was wrinkled and not visible but lately has dropped down a little and has clear fluid if I try to squeeze a little out. She has not tried to push or isnt...

Looks like your mare is right on the same schedule as mine. Cloudy milk this morning and not much of a bag. She has been irritated with biting, swishing, stomping, butt rubbing for now the 4th day. What a pretty girl! Has it been just a couple weeks since the other filly stopped drinking? I think every mare is different with lactating. Could be left from previous foal or she could be close to fooling. Do you have a PH kit available to test it?

Looks like a little bay filly. Depending on nose and legs darkening. If they don't darken it could be a sooty buckskin. Yay! I have been following her progress. Congratulations to you and your sweet mare and filly!!
