What I need to know is what all of you do for feeders in your trailers.

We are making our trailer one that has the slant load stall bars in it.

I will post pictures of it when we have it finished.

Do I just do a hay net?

My girl loves her pelets as well and thought to feed that at times too on long trips

What do all of you use

We use hay bags, and on really long trips (over 12 hours) feed grain in buckets on the floor when we stop for gas and people food. Water is given as well (also at every fuel stop). Bucket on the floor is to encourage them to lower their heads to help drain their nasal passages. Being tied high for hours on end can cause respiratory problems so we do try to leave them loose as much as we can if they don't pick at each other over dividers.

Hay bags work well--better than hay nets....and grain should not be fed while the trailer is in

motion--too much risk of choke--so as said a pan on the floor works for that during your stops.
