My dad has been nagging me to let him make me a miniature horse trimming station. It is not finished, but I HAVE to share. My dad has a brilliant eye for building and we made this in a day. We have some left to add to it. It has one ramp already, but needs the front ramp, along with tie rings, slip proof flooring, and a gate in the front so they don't just walk out. The ramps will be able to fold up so that it will be able to fit in the back of a pickup.
I did let two of my minis in it so far. I let my four year old filly in it before the ramp was put in and she hopped right up and stood for us to drill in the lower rails. Keep in mind she is about 27" tall and the stocks is 16" tall! I also let my 3 year old 35" tall filly in it as well and she did great. It was crowded since my dad had put his company truck in the machine shed, but she did great all in all. I wouldn't have put her in the situation if I didn't trust her to handle it well.
I am SO tempted to use it for clipping ponies as well!
