Empty Nest

My boarder took her 4 horses today to go to their new home. Not because she was unhappy here but because of our upcoming move. It is bittersweet. Although I still have 2 horses, 4 minis and a donkey here, I still feel a little heartbroken that the others are gone. (The 'herd of misfits' as I like to call them.) I'm sure I will get over it because I will be so busy packing. But at feeding time I will miss filling all those buckets.
