DOUBLE K CLIPPERS.. BIT NOISY.. ADVICE PLEASE

Hi,

have a set of Double K clippers 401's about 9 months old...

not having had Double K's before, i have been told they are noisy ...

question is: are they normally? is there a reccomended way of servicing?.. how long before you need to change the hammer? or felt?

any advice you be appreciated.

They are fairly noisy. You can check the lever and see if it's worn, check the felts. Changing them is quick and easy and pretty cheap - just contact Double K and they can sell and ship them to you. Is the head getting hot fast? Might have to send it in for a tune up. But they are quite loud anyhow.
