Digital cameras and printing

Now that the both registries need good photo's I had a question on printing.

I have a couple of digital camera's, I like to edit out any extra junk that in the background. But what do I need to print good quality photo's? I have a printer/scanner/ fax machine but it doesn't print good color.

Is there a small printer just for printing photo's?

There are a lot of printers to choose from that can print nice quality photos.

However, I think it's pretty inexpensive and easy to just have them printed by a photo place. I just upload mine to York Photo and have the prints in my mail box in a few days. It's only 10 cents each for 4x6 photos, but they can do any size and even huge poster sizes. Plus tons of photo gifts like coffee cups, clocks, tote bags, etc.

We have a hp photosmart7760 we really like it does the small and big 8x10 pictures and works of the card has it's little screen to edit and is instant which we like the best. And not pricy at all.
