I am looking for a more experienced care team for my new mini.

I am just not comfortable with some the answers I have gotten from my current vet. And I am obviously looking for someone who is familiar with minis.

Is there anyone that you would recommend?

I am looking to have Cooper's shots done, teeth floated and have him gelded.

And he will be due to have his feet done in the next few weeks.

Is there anyone you absolutely love, that I need to be aware of??

Thank you!!

Get a hold of Mountain Meadows, Stacy Score. She knows a good mini vet down near Covington I think.

My farrier comes over from Eastern WA, so I can't really help there.

I had Kody's stifle surgery done by Dr. Affeldt of (I think) Cascade Vet Clinic down in Centralia. Ron and Dorothy Whiteman might know someone!

You might try getting hold of Ron & Lorraine Callis at Flaming Geyser Havanese (you can google their website. They live between Covington and Enumclaw and had minis for many years. I don't know if Hammerman Forge is still in business, but Jim at Hammerman used to trim our mini's for us when we lived up there and he was GREAT. Hope this helps.

My suggestion would be:

Northwest Equine Veterinary Assoc

(253) 639-2909

When I lived in the area they took care of my kids.

I'd go to the wall for Dr Latimer - he's magical.

My next choice would be - Bob Campbell - I'll have to locate a number for him.

My farrier comes out of that area but I am not sure he is

taking new customers. I will inquire and get back to you

if he is.
