Important Classic Shetland Stallion Sweepstakes News:
After careful consideration of the program and how to make improvements in the following years, the Classic Sweepstakes Committee has decided to POSTPONE the Stallion Auction until January 2011. By doing so, this will allow for breeding to occur the same year as the auction with the resulting foal crops at the following year’s Congress. This move places the Classic Sweepstakes Stallion Auction inline with the AMHR Stallion Auction as well as the Modern Stallion Auction.
We will be accepting stallion nominations all the way until November of 2010. Services will be auctioned, bought, and redeemed the same year for foal crops of the next year. We hope that this move will be less confusing and allow more individuals to nominate and bid.
