Here is a post from another site I keep up with and thought some of us here might have 5 or 10 bucks to spare to help him. Read his story if you get time. If you cross post then a lot of people with a few bucks can make a big difference for this ole guy. Prayer are always a good thing too
: Thanks for reading Here is the post I read:
This came across the 4H listserve today and it horrified me!
Hey everyone...
This is a horrible story that happened yesterday (4/18)..An 80 yr old man in FL came home to find 8 of his horses shot and 4 killed including a pregnant mare. His colt has a 22 calibur bullet lodged in his spine..he is being treated at a vet clinic in Pace, FL. Please take a moment to watch the video link and see this sweet old man..my heart goes out to him..lets all help out. We all know how devastated we would be had it happened to our own beloveds. Give the video time to load as t takes a minute..I'll have contact detail in a minute for donations to the clinic..There are phone numbers for verification and the vets office will gladly answer any questions you have. Thank you all in advance..

Until an official fund is set up, you can make donations directly to
the animal clinic for Mr. Davis: Northwest Florida Large Animal Clinic
6736 Quintette Rd.
Pace, FL 32571
(850) 994-0900
So I just got off the phone with Keith Weekly at the Northwest Large Animal Hospital. What a really nice man.He verified they have 3 horses there they are "treating aggressively" and one is scheduled to go to a specialist tomorrow. Mr. Davis' bill has already exceeded the $4500 mark but they intend to continue
treating the horses.
Any and all contributions are welcome. He asked that a check be memo with either Mr. Davis's horses or gunshot horses. He was leery that cash might not make it. Calls during office hours can be run through their credit card machine and will go directly to the fund.If you include your name and address he will send you a receipt that he believes is tax deductible or return your money should the donations exceed the bills.I told him that I would prefer my donation to be used for any other unfortunate animal.
Please cross post this on every forum you frequent and lets get some dollars rolling that way. Let's open our pocketbooks and help this dear sweet man and his horses.
