Can someone recommend a camera

I have been searching for a camera. I look at ebay and then go read the reviews on other websites and then have to start the search all over. I want something simple, that will take short video clips, clear pictures with little time between "clicks" (not sure how to word this...my current old camera I have to wait to take the second picture and by then the horse has already moved to the other side of the pasture eatten dinner and gone to poop).

I don't want to invest a fortune....somewhere around 200.00. any help would be appreciated.

I have a Canon Powershot A590. It's not terribly expensive, easy to use and not too bulky to fit into a stable jacket pocket- though I can't cram it into my jeans pocket

. I just got it to replace my three year old Powershot A520 that recently died. We had many good times together, but I like the new guy even better. I would recommend it.
