    LB Auction

I've been trying to go to the LB Auction page, but I keep getting a "Forbidden" come up every time. :arg! Is anyone else having this problem?

    Hyperbike

Is it difficult to get in these carts? With my sometimes stiff arthritic legs, I'd be afraid I'd kick the horse in the rear when I was getting in!!

    Hyperbike

Do these carts put weight on the horse? I was looking at the enlarged picture of Willow and the cart, and I would think that having the cart so close to the cart with your feet up at their sides, and the way the seat sits a little forward of the axle, this would put a lot of the weight on the horse.

    Lucy's tumor

I'm so sorry to hear that. But hopefully, she was spared a lot of pain and suffering.

    Lucy's tumor

I had a POA gelding with this many years ago. It was on his "privates". What made me realize something was wrong was that he would come stand in front of me to pee, which was very unusal, he would normally quit peeing if he knew you could see him! He was straining hard and not much was coming...

    Are sweet gum tree's toxic?

I have a LOT of gum trees in my yard and pasture. They produce a lot of those prickly gum balls that get stuck in te horses hooves and make you fall down if your not careful! I try to rake them up in areas where we walk often.

I did 2 of my mares bridle path Take a look?

It looks like you did a nice neat job, but I wouldn't have taken that much off, especially the second mare.

    Some suggestions please

I use Kelco Ultra Silk. It is actually a conditioner that I used when I was doing pet grooming. One gallon makes 65 gallons, so it's cheap to use. I usually don't dilute it that much. It also has UV protection, so it is good to use on the entire horse. Just spray it on and leave it!

    ADS vehicles

I thought that was the reason for using the four wheel vehicles. Do any of you that compete with single minis have any trouble making the turns in your carts?

    ADS vehicles

I've noticed that equines larger than VSE are driven in four wheel vehicles in the marathon phase at ADS events. Are they not allowed to be driven in two wheel carts in the phase?

    Stretching down

How do you get a horse to stretch down while doing a free walk in harness? He goes well on a loose rein at the free walk, but doesn't stretch down much.

Best hoof dressing for cracked hooves

I like the Straight Arrow Hoofmaker. And the mud is a good idea. Just soaking the feet with water helps. I hose Pepper down on days that it's really hot and then apply the Hoofmaker to his wet hooves. This helps seal in the moisture. You might want to add biotin to the diet, also.
