    Mini horses at State Fairs?

    Our Florida State Fair has a lot of different horse breed shows. Sometimes this includes miniature horses. The main places you will find 4-H kids showing their animals(cows, goats, pigs, chickens,etc) are county fairs.

    Our 2nd foal is Joker. Born July 7th. Pretty much solid black colt. Possibly smoky black as sire is buckskin.

    What I Found from Researching My Minis' Pedigrees

    You used to be able to look up show records for AMHR horses on their website, But I don't see it anymore. The best way is to just call the registry and ask for a copy of their show record if they have one.

    Improving length of stride

    I do agree with the above comments BUT a properly trained horse will almost always move better than an untrained one. A high headed, hallow backed horse on it's forehand will have shorter choppier stride than a horse that is using it's rear end with swinging hips through a rounded back...
