We attended an ADT last weekend with our pair. An ADT is a condensed version of a CDE, held on just a single day. The morning starts with dressage and Cones. Then there is a break for lunch and sometimes even a nap! Then the real fun begins with the hazards! Four different hazards are set up with lettered "gates" A - E. Which gates you go through depends upon which level you are driving...training go through A - C, prelim go through A - D, and intermediate go through A - E. And always much sure you keep the red letter on your right!

Here is our Sunday trip through the hazards with our VSE boys doing prelim.

I enjoyed watching that a lot. Thanks for posting it.
We took our mini to his first two ADTs this Fall. He enjoyed himself quite a bit. My instructor drove him as I was chicken . I was the groom and drove him around afterwards and probably had more fun that way. His dressage scores were abysmal, lol. But he tried he wee heart out!
