Furizone is carcinogenic... I avoid it at all costs

It is an antibiotic, but a very weak one, which can actually HARBOR bacteria after a few months of being touched and used. Throw it away!

My vet disagrees, it will stay a part of my emergency kit. In fact I have two vets, one for dogs and one for horses and both advise my use of it.

This is the first year I had heard of scarlett oil for cuts, scrapes etc. When tease was a weanling she cut the side of her face really bad and we were worried about scarring. After using this stuff for a week it was healed and gone. This stuff works like magic. I had to buy it from my vet but I noticed at TSC they are now selling it too
