Well, I only have one experience paying someone to haul a mini for me. It was a local haul and cost me about $120.00 for a 1 1/2-2hr ride. Most people would charge a minimum of $200-$300 for that trip. I recently hauled another horse about the same distance for $140.00. I have hauled a pregnant (full size) horse in a box stall from MT to CA for about $550.00. To move that horse from CA to VA cost me a little over $1,000.00. I have received quotes for a lot more and for less, but I always choose the one that I think will take care of my horse the best during the trip. Hauling is much pricier now due to the rise in gas prices

but you can still find decent prices if you look around.
