OK, so I've been doing lots of photoshoppings lately, and though I realize they aren't the best in the world, I think they're pretty decent. Do you think their good enough to sell? I have no clue what editing jobs cost, but I'd make mine pretty cheap, because, well, I mostly do it for fun and i'm not as experianced as the professionals. I actually work as an editor at my church, but I do video editing and general media stuff as far as that's concerned. I used to do videos for people, but I lost all my software at home, and I could get in trouble doing them at work. So, no more of that. But I was wondering

if I set up a site, do you think people would pay for my stuff?

do you have any critiques to help me get better?

how much do people charge for editing ? (if someone could give me an example that'd be great)

And how would I even go about this...

I'f you'd like to see some examples and haven't already, then you can check the "boredom" post, or I have some more I could post...

Here are a few more I've done recently:

I charge $75/hour (Cdn.) for graphic design work. That's pretty low-to-average, industry-wide.

So you generally charge by hour?

Most of the things I do don't take an hour, lol...

I am pretty into editing photos as well .. making logos , banners and editing photos making them professional by blurring backgrounds/moving horses to differant ones. If I had interest I would start doing this charging.

I would charge $10 to edit a photo

and $20 for a BAnner.. But thats just me I hate charging money I hardly ask anything for my webpages too

And they take ALOT of work as I edit all the photos and make a banner to go on it exc .

Yeah, I really hate asking for things, lol. I don't know if I really want to charge or not. But my roomie says I should start up a site and charge people (mostly because all I've done for the past few days is mess around on the computer ^^; ) for some extra cash.

Since I built my first website just lately, I have done a few web pages..for friends..I'm no professionaly by a long run, and it took me days, But I dont like charging for anything either, and told them they owed me nothing...to my surprise..I got a beautiful horse plaque in the mail from one of them, and the cutest stuffed donkey out. Both were gifts to me to show there appreciation. I always feel like if I would charge something..it would take the fun ot of doing it, and it would turn into more of a job, and then I would have to become a "pro" at it to make them completely happy with it. Why dont you just try doing it and telling them that you have a paypal (or whatever account) and if they feel like donating anything for your time that is great if not ~~ thats OK too. You might be surprised, and it wouldnt put any extra pressure on you. You do nice work. Corinne
