What did you all have for dinner tonight? Anything special?

We had the same thing we had last night (cuz it was SO good!)

mashed taters

white gravy

fried chicken

But it was boneless, skinless chicken. Coated and deep fried to a golden brown!

It is WAY YUMMY!!!

We're on the west coast, so it hasn't happened yet...but it will be steaks on the grill, baked white and sweet potatoes, zucchini on the grill, and flourless chocolate cake with mint ice cream for dessert! YUM!

I made Herb coated chicken with chocolate sauce, and boy was it good!! Below is a link to the recipe.

And I cut up fresh parsley and grated fresh garlic with melted butter for the baked potatoes my mom made, my friend brought salad, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

Oh and yesterday I made chocolate coconut oatmeal squares for dessert. It was all very yummy!

went to the gym and then had a delicious Special K protien meal bar thing..actually was pretty yummy.

On a obsessive gym kick been going 2 times a day 6 days a week and starting to see some progress so that keeps me motivated ..

That said I really wanted to have McDonalds French Fries for dinner LOL

steak on the grill with garlic mashed potatoes.

I will trade ya Lisa, wish I could go to the gym, better yet I wish I had the gym in the basement.

Sounds yummy Robin!

We went to White Castle!

Yep, we did. Robert asked me last month what I wanted to do for Valentine's Day and I said "honey, you pick." That'll teach me!

So he made reservations, yes, reservations, and at 6:30pm we showed up at our local WC and were escorted to a table with a candle, table cloth, printed menu (same menu though

) and balloons. They took a picture of us and asked our permission to post it on their website, and we were served by a young man in dress pants and shirt and tie. It was fun, but it was till White Castle.

We came home and I had a boquet of flowers waiting, some Lindt Truffles and a beautiful card. It was a fun evening! But I don't have a need to do another Valentine's dinner at White Castle. Once is enough.

Well this couldn't have been a better Valentines Day.... Since I can't break away from the farm since I'm on mare watch my hubby Terry took one of our FAVORITE Valentine's out to eat dinner. Our (8) year old granddaughter Skyler.... What a FANTASTIC guy.

I went ahead and eat some left overs.....

We went out to dine tonight.

Steak, baked potatoe, with salad, and yummy strawberry rhubarb pie.

Lots of talk down memory lane.

My diet went right out the window.

I love the meals and stories!

Karrel always gets me a doz red long stemmed roses. I always tell him not to waste the $. He listened to me this time!

He did get me a big beautiful Valentine!

Don't ask me how, but as full as I still am from dinner, I managed to have cheesecake.

We went out to supper. I had the house special fettucine, it was very good and I get to enjoy more of it tomorrow as left-overs.

Not only is it Valentine's Day, it is National Congenital Heart Defects Day. One of our local support groups, Mended Little Hearts, was having a fundraiser. If you ate at Buffalo Wild Wings on 2/14 and presented a coupon, they donated 15% to Mended Little Hearts. So, while not romantic, we took the girls and met up with some friends and had a great time at B-Dubs!

We had oven roasted chicken breast with carrots and roasted potatos. Boy was it good!

I made crab legs with filet mignon with smoked gouda mashed potato and a ceasar salad. Then chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. Then 5 miles on the treadmill.

It's my anniversary as well and I love to cook.

My husband gave me beautiful roses and a gorgeous Valentine--the sentiment inside said "I love you still, I always will"

. He commutes 37 miles one way to work everyday, so we decided not to drive anywhere for supper. I made whole grain rice topped with shrimp and peppers. Whole grain rolls to scoop with. We toasted each other--I had wine and his tipple is Canadian Mist.

I would like to have had a big piece of cake for dessert--all the desserts mentioned here sound marvelous!-- but he is cutting back on sugar now so I eat my dessert in the middle of the day when he is not home.

(I WAS hoping for a box of See's Candy.)

We went to eat at a Chinese buffet...was yummy!!

Deb also got me a PINK bag of Lindt Lindor Truffles...MY favorite candy wrapped in my favorite color!!! MMmmmmm.........

I had been out most of the morning and early afternoon, but when I pulled up to the house there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers and plants in a basket waiting for me.

Called hubby at work and thanked him. (This morning there was a sweet card propped up on my kitchen counter.) I had planned for him a yummy dinner. I made him a chicken fricase with fresh red potatoes, and Mexican rice. We extended the meal and will have left overs today and I'll include the dessert that we did not have last night....cherry pie.
