Many of you have followed ClickMini's (Amy) various exploits and adventures with her beloved minis over the years and I am sure that many of you have benefited from her help with clicker training. What many don't know is that Amy is also rearing her granddaughter and trying to help her daughter work thru her own personal demons and all the while trying to not worry about her son who is serving in Iraq as a "bomb specialist"
. Amy has had a tough year with a major round of kidney stones which landed her in the hospital a couple of months ago -- throughout all her trials and tribulations Amy has always "been there" for any animal in need - especially a horse or pony - and it is not unusual to find Amy bringing home another "project" and devoting countless hours to gain back the trust that has been lost due to neglect or worse.
This past week Amy suffered another really low blow - apparently she has a ruptured disc and is in incredible pain - back and forth from the hospital and ER over the past few days and lots of meds have helped, but of course a ruptured disc will take plenty of time to "heal". Throughout it all Amy has maintained her unflappable cheerful spirit - even thru the tears, she is still the eternal optimist. Many of us could take a lesson from her book - I know that I can for sure.
So if you could spare a little prayer for a speedy recovery to a well deserving forum friend, I am sure she would appreciate it.
I love you Amy - you know that if there is anything you need you can call on me to help,
