Neffie is doing well - she is very animated and has action - our vet commented on it today when she was out to do WNV shots on the other horses.

She also said Neffie was "very fancy". I feel really blessed.

I love her...

: but she has attitude! We have started halter training and handling and once she gets that halter on, she is tossing her head and prancing in place...when I work with those hooves and legs, three are OK to touch but the left hind usually flies all over the place (I hold it until she is quiet then I release it and pick it up again until she picks it up quietly).

Had to wash her tail and backside as she had some foal heat scours and that resulted in a mini rodeo....but luckily she is still small enough to fit between an elbow and a knee and after some scrubbing she finally had a clean tail and backside....

After all was done, I scratched her and let her "groom" me back...made sure she was quiet and then I released her to Intrepid but her tail was flapping a mile a minute when she returned to the milk bar.
