my appaloosa filly

This is Tali, she will be 2 in April 2013... Her sire is a 29 inch black and white pinto egyptian king stallion, and her dam is grey few spot appaloosa mare... I think Tali, will grey out like her mom...

she's greying out on her face... her dam did the same thing..born bay, now she's white/grey with a grey mane.

Doesn't look grey to me, looks like she's going to be varnish roan.. Willing to put money down her momma's a varnish roan too

I also think she is varnishing, not greying, which would be a good thing! Then she'd keep those pretty spots

There is a HUGE difference in graying out and roaning out with an Appaloosa... I dont see gray either. If her spots etc... are not fading away, she is not a gray.

this is the appaloosa filly and her mother...

so she's a varnish roan.. that's awesome. I always thought her mom was grey.... these horse colors still confuse me! lol
