Hi

My farrier is doing classes and has said for everyone doing the class to get a radis rasp.

Have any of you used one of these on your minis. I know most of the students if not all of the but me have big horses. I need to know if this would work on a mini or if I should just stick with a straight

Here is the site of the rasp

I don't use a radius rasp (never had heard of them before) I just use a regular file. But I would think you could probably look online for a pony/miniature sized one.

I am a mini farrier and dont personally like them. The ole flat one is the best in my opinion. Just like nipping with nippers, I'll never own a grinding wheel to trim, too much could/will happen. Plus with doing soooooo many lame/founder minis, its not needed in my hand bag.

only my preferance tho...

same concept as the riders rasp. A tool I have used 2 times and now sits in my tack room. Guess it might as well be put with my soon to be on ebay pile of items.
