To all my Canadian counterparts, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!
Do you celebrate it on Sunday or Monday - your Thanksgiving meal? Our Thanksgiving meal will be Sunday evening and it has to be one of my favorite holidays because it is truly a time to reflect back how very lucky we are in our lives. I do like Christmas but as I get older I find it much to commercialized, unlike my grandaughter, lol, who of course loves Christmas.
What do you plan on cooking (your menu)?
Menu at the Emond house
Homemade soup served in hollowed out small individual pumpkins
Turkey
Apple/raising/onion/bread/sausage stuffing
Gravy, cranberry sauce
Mashed potatoes
Brussel Sprouts
Parsnips and baby carrots
Hot rolls
Pumpkin Pie and Sweet Potatoe Pie
This year I am thankful for:
My family's health
My mom and dad who are getting up there in age and are still going strong
My sister
My new daughter-in-law (Holly)
my very entertaining grandaughter, Makayla
My dear friends, here and in cyberspace (this forum and others) and especially those that I don't see eye to eye with
because you make me a better person by lmaking me look at both sides of the coin.
My co-workers
My animals that bring me such joy
Our latest addition (horse) baby Hannah
Our newest feline additions (Fiona and Tabitha)
To Mary Lou for hosting this forum and allowing us to speak our mind, educate ourselves, share our horse knowledge and of course the forum monitors for their difficult job as well. THAHNK YOU!!!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
