Went ahead and tested for everything since I couldn't remember what Rabbitfizz told me.....

Results are:

Ee = Heterozygous for black but carries recessive copy of red gene

aa = Non-agouti

nCr = Heterozygous for cream, carries one cream gene

nZ = Heterozygous for silver, carries one silver gene

So I guess she is a smokey silver black roan?????? Registered as a gray.

I wasn't aware she could have cream, but I definately figured her to be a silver black roan. Nice!!!

Does she drive? She has driving horse "written all over her", I think she would be an outstanding mover.

that makes her a Silver Smokey Black Roan. I had a chocolate colored mare that suddenly produced a palomino. Figured out she had the creme gene then and the silver dilutes black to brown. With out the silver gene she'd just be a black horse *smokey black*. I've seen a few horses like this I've seen them with amber eyes and green eyes.

I'm pretty sure that is what I said she was....anyway, having forgotten that I had seen her that is what I guessed her to be
