Another LWO Question

If my stallions dam is solid with no white at all..........and the sire is a B&W pinto........neither known to carry LW.....

would there still be a chance he could be a carrier and should be tested?

He is B&W pinto with blue eyes.........

If he has blue eyes, I would definately have him tested, just for peace of mind.

Were both sire and dam tested? If they both tested Neg than I would think he doesn't carry it but if it's just assumed, then for sure have him tested. It's a cheap test for a HUGE piece of mind. If he's positive than you need to test the mares that you are going to breed to also. JMHO :bgrin
