Just now I am able to post pictures, as we did not have them ready before.

I missed the whole birth, although we had the mare on camera, for two months..

Hubby turned off the monitor for 10 minutes, durring the day on friday to watch the basketball game..

By the time we figgured that out,- we ran out to the barn to see this filly standing up all wet..

Well so much for mare stare...Just glad it all went well..

Her name will be Dejavu, and she has 6 1/2" cannons, and is a Classic Champagne that will be registered AMHR,& ICHR.

Congratulations on a pretty filly!! :aktion033:

Thanks for all the nice comments..You all are so kind.

If Dejavu has "even half" of her moms incredible movement, she will be quite a mover as well.. Her mom moves like a trotting Thoroughbred/Hackney/Arabian,.. and then some!

And since she was bred from two Champagne horses, there is also a possibility that she may be homozygous for the Champagne gene. (to always produce Champagne)

My only regret will be that I will have to sell her, (Dejavu) as I am not allowed to add any more at this time..

But we have already planned a rebreeding of the same cross, ( Icee and Prince) since it turned out so well, so it will be bitter-sweet..
