Goodness you do have your hands full! That's a lot of ponies. Looks like you need more drivers too!
So far so good! I do keep it to a manageable number. Although sometimes I wish I had someone to come drive so they could get seasoning on driving in company.

I cannot believe how far this boy has come! This is little Richard.

Fonzie got a custom comfyfit bridle and loves it.

Wonderful day of training today!

I've been too busy to update for awhile but there is plenty of progress happening!
All but two of my breeding horses are sold but that does not mean there are fewer horses here! Between the consignment program and training, my waitlist is about two months out and I have 11 stalls. Only 3 are mine. There are even a few in the pasture lol.
Looks like we may still be moving to Kentucky after all too!

I have several new carriages and harnesses coming that I am excited about! I like this trend of fewer personal horses and more and better equipment! They don't eat (much) lol.

I love your pictures. Of the 4 photos, which mins are yours?

Only one in those photos, the one on the bottom, Fonzie. The other two of mine, not pictured, are my red Pinto gelding Amigo, and Tomas the jumper. He doesn't drive.

I may have one or two more geldings coming soon.

Sounds like your Hackney is in your future!! And not just good equipment, but nice jacket too! 😉
He is! Not sure when, have to find out about the move first. But I'm excited. All ready with a Kutzmann coming!

Your ponies are nice and slim. Are they stalled 24-7? You have some nice green grass around there...
Oh they have a few extra pounds but I like them that way coming out of winter before clipping. They are turned out after they are worked so usually from around 12-2 until 9 or 10 at night. Just typical high metabolism Shetlands. Most of the B minis get 4-5lbs of grain, alfalfa and hay as well. I don't have a lot of grass but there is some. Definitely would limit them more in KY or acclimate and not feed Hay all year!

Currently up in Kentucky looking at properties. It is beautiful here! 😍

Beautiful pictures. I love the barn in the 2nd pic. Enjoy your trip :)

And he is here! My very own Hackney! Could not be more pleased with him. He's sweet and stunning! I think he will be perfect for CDE!

It's been awhile and quite a bit was going on. It was an adventure but we are finally moved to Kentucky! The horses are loving the pasture and I am working on making the barn more like home. Looking forward to getting back to training soon. There are so many shows and driving events nearby.
