The term "Wild Bay" has come up several times under other topics.

Can anyone provide some photos of them to educate the rest of us ?

I don't have any pics but wild bay is manifested by the horses black legs only going as high as the pasterns rather than up the legs. It's caused by the wild agouti allele. The bay allele allows the black stockings to go higher. Just picture a bay with black anklets rather than black stockings. Thats the only difference. The body shade is identical.

I have a driving team of bay mares. I think one of them would probably be considered a 'wild bay', the other a 'normal' bay.
