Hi all,

I am taking two of my geldings to a charity gig tomorrow. While there, they will be ridden by small children.

Both boys are wonderful, perfect gentleman around children, so I am not worried about that at all.

I do have a question though. One of my geldings has a white mane. Right now, it is almost yellowish because it is so dirty.

Both geldings are getting a bath tomorrow, if the weather is nice. I was going to give them one today, but the weather is horrible.

Back to my question...any home remedies to make his mane whiter, quickly?

Thanks!

DAWN DISHSOAP!!!

Use a good amount, mix in with a little water, and let sit 5-1O minutes. Repeat as many times as needed!

Good Luck!

Wisk detergent. It gets our horses white brighter than anything we have tried. It will do wonders and it is cheap and easy to get. We wash the horse with regular shampoo, then use the wisk on all the white spots including mane and tail. Just make sure like with any shampoo you rinse it out good.

You took the words right out of my mouth

. I was told to use dawn on the white and it works really well!
