Where's Dapper Dan?

We participated in a parade yesterday for Memorial Day. As usual, Dapper Dan was a hit. He is civic minded and does so many local activities that he is called by name. Instead of "Look at the little horse" now he hears "There's Dapper Dan!"

Here is surrounded by fans. Our local parade, though fairly large, is very spectator-friendly.

This year they did ask us not to throw candy from the middle of the street, but to go to the edges to throw. (What we noticed, however, is that this just made the crowds move into the street off the sidewalks.)

Anyone else do parades or horse events this weekend?

What a good time , we have done a couple parades in town here in the past it was alot of fun

Awwww...he's a doll. We've done two parades... not recently though.
