What are your favorite TV cooking show/s and why? Do you ever look up the recipes online or buy the cookbooks inspired by them?

It's hard to nail down just one. I like Master Chef and Jr. Master Chef. It like to see what each Chef can come up with and/or how they are able to master it in the challenge time. My H. (and I) like heck's Kitchen (oops, forgot the real name would be censored! LOL). I think just watching the fast paced preparation and the personalities of the participants is interesting. Though Chef Ramsey gets pretty "testy". Much prefer him on Master Chef. I also like The Taste. Pretty much for the same reasons as Master Chef. But I think Master Chef and Jr. are my favorites. I also watch Rachel Ray and The Chew. Rachel is a fun lady; but most of her recipe's would be too 'different' for my family's tastes. We don't get cable or satalite, so we don't see a lot of the other food shows. Do like Saturday morning's show where they take a family's favorite recipe and two chefs revamp it to make it healthier and the family prepare's and rates them.

I actually refer to the Food Channel and Cooking Network as my food porn! I like Not My Mamma's Meals, Money Saving Meals, and Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives a lot!

Oh, I also love Hungry Girl!

I love watching Healthy Food by ifood on the Roku. I can make a meal out of any veggie or meat that is in my kitchen. You can pause it. The people are fun and down to earth every day people. I can search, look at the newest, diabetic, low this, low that. I really love the search by ingredient. It is awesome. The people crack me up. They are from all walks of life (and I do mean ALL.) Most of the videos tell you the website to go to for all the "cook's" stuff. I simply love it. I can stand in my kitchen watching the big screen in the living room and cook with them! My husband wants me to start making videos, but I dunno! I don't really know why I am so reluctant, heck you are watching everything on these videos from kitchens not big enough to turn around in to really nice kitchens, people from different countries and ethnic backgrounds, people with a sense of humor to people with zero personality, people who seem a tad bit high, people who dress up, to people who are still in their pj's, couples, party animals, geeks, rednecks, and a smorgasbord goes on and on as far as lifestyles. The only thing I have ever seen on there that was too much for me was a guy this week that basically used the sink in place of platters, bowls, and other clean dishes to place the meat and veggies on. Gross. Between my 4 ingredient cookbook and this channel I can save money, have fun, and eat well.

My 34 year old son like Diners, Drive Ins and Dives a lot too! When he lived at home and had Netflix we watched a lot of the episodes. I found he has recipe books out through the library internet.

I need to watch the cooking / food channels on the Roku. I added several, including iFood, but I haven't actually watched them yet. Sometimes I turn on one of the food shows on satellite and I think I'm not even hungry, but in 5mins, I think I'm starving!

Those documentaries they do on some of the other channels about how different foods are made and the history of the foods are interesting too. They had a block on the other day that caused me to eat popcorn and then wish I had almonds in the house. It was all the fault of TLC or whichever network was airing it LOL!

I found "Recipe Rehabs" on Saturday mornings. I like it. They take a dish a family loves that is too high in about everything; and redo so it's healthy. Most of the time it ends up not even resembling what it started out to be; but most of the families like the dishes. Then they give scores to the 2 chefs for each dish and see which one comes out on top.
