I want to put a big flower pot in the paddock in front of the barn, but I don't know what is safe! I'm thinking maybe a red cedar for year round with some flowers around the edges.

Any ideas?

Help appreciated

I can find lots of sites about poisonous plants/weeds etc, but no ifnformation on what might be safe to use for decorative purposes.

Hi Charlotte,

I don't know any facts, but I can tell

you that last week, Little John ate all the petunias

in the flower box in his paddock (which is up high,,,,)

and he suffered no ill effects

My minis also ate all the flowers that hung into the

paddock after a storm with no ill effects...

mostly petunias and blackeyed susans.

Hope this helps
