Her papers say golden Sorrel

sire palomino -Dam golden sorrel

So is she golden sorrel? (She looks palomino to me) and what colors would she produce?

I thought we had a lot of color possibilities with Italian Greyhounds!

Not sure I will ever get my head wrapped around color genetics on minis!

She doesn't look palomino to me. If you aren't sure I would test for cream and silver.

yup she looks sorrel with flaxen mane/tail to me.

that means she can produce (depending on what she's bred to) just about anything except double dilutes.

If she is a sorrel, then all she has for "color" genes is....sorrel. She will always pass on the red gene to her foals. However, you will be able to get many other colors from her, depending on what stallion she is bred to. If you breed her to a homozygous black, her foals will always be black even though they will carry her red gene as well. Of course if she happens to have agouti then her black foals could come out bay. Breed her to a cremello and you will always get palomino.
