A few months back Kandi started acting strange. Very bad attitude, just was not her self. Went off of food here and there, off to herself. Her milk veins were filling up quick.
We put her on antibiotics, and regimate.
She is Due March 1.
And is doing much better. She has been doing some rolling the past few days, but I think that is positioning the foal. She has been eating very well and doesn't miss a meal. Yesterday she played with Prints in the pasture, and let the other horses stand next to her without her becoming an instant witch. Her social skills have returned!
She is still under the camera after dinner, through the next morning. I go home at lunch to check on her, neighbor checks on her at 10 and 2, and so far, so good!
If she can hang onto this baby just a few more weeks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
It's our only 2006 foal,,,,,,,,,,,so we are extremely anxious.
