UPDATE on China Dwarf Rocky and Shamrock

Debbie tried to get into Beaumont but as you read in her e-mail below they

wouldn't let her in.. Please everyone send thoughts and prayers their way

for the dwarf Rocky and his gelding friend Shamrock.

Gini,

President Bush was touring the Beaumont disaster area today. The Highway Patrol would not allow traffic down Hwy 90 where the minis are located. I have a few folks I will contact tomorrow to see if they will go to the property and check on the minis.

The hurricane damage to the general area looked mild. My horses are within a 5 mile range. I had water still available in my water troughs so I think they are Ok. I happen to know the horses you are concerned about and they live on pasture and I think should have water.

I will keep trying to get relief to the minis.

Thank you for the update, Gini, I have been worrying over them.

I hope someone can get to them soon, just so we know they are alright.
